Taylor Bane
Church Life Engagement Coordinator
I have the pleasure of serving here at Bethel as the Church Life Engagement Coordinator, where my primary focus is to coordinate the care and connection of all members, regular attenders, returning visitors, and first-time guests alike through church-wide evangelism initiatives, such as helping to lead our Discovery Classes, assisting Deacons and pastoral staff with congregational care, greeting new faces on a Sunday morning, planning and attending invite & invest events hosted throughout the year, and more!
In this role, I love that I get to connect with others on an interpersonal level, hear their stories, learn who they are and of their experiences, gather in community, and share the ways in which God has worked in my life as we seek to explore just what the Good News of Jesus means together! My greatest passion in life is to meet others where they are-whether they are just curious about the Bible, hearing about Jesus for the first time, have been a decades-long believer, or just aren’t sure exactly where they are-and supporting them in their personal walk in any way I can.
Originally from Cincinnati, OH, I graduated from the Ohio State University with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and more recently from Cedarville University with my Master of Ministry degree. Outside of coming to know Jesus, the greatest joy of my life is being married to my wonderful husband, Marshal, and taking care of our three rambunctious cats: Julius, Sunny, and Georgia! My free time usually looks like taking long walks, reading, cross-stitching, expanding my classical music library, exploring new parts of Columbus with my husband, and trying new coffee recipes.
