Who We Are

Bethel is a place for all where we, Love Christ passionately, Live Him Relationally, Serve Him joyfully, and Share Him faithfully. We ask our staff, ministry teams, and members to center their ministry on this vision and mission and ask that their resources go towards promoting our mission. In practice this requires ministry teams to explain how resources, events, and/ or programs will support one or more of the components of the mission/vision statement. Bethel members and friends respond to Christ’s Great Commission by seeking to be “salt and light” to our neighborhoods, cities and states, and world. The Bethel Missions Team serves as a conduit between the church community and those who are serving in the field across the world. These practices represent our way to Love, Live, Serve, and Share Christ. Bethel is often encouraged by what Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 3:16, and believes that scripture will always represent truth in the midst of ideas and beliefs of the culture and world around us. Bethel wants to stand firmly on God’s word and what the Lord is calling us to accomplish. Last year Bethel became the  100th ECO church and A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, composed of likeminded churches, holding each other accountable to God’s word and to his calling.. ECO encourages us in new ways as a Biblical community beyond the walls of our church and boundaries of our city.
